it's such a shame to see a group that debuted in 2012 before most popular groups these days being slept on. They are so talented and have more stable voices than most who perform live, they can also pull off the dark theme extremely well. Cross gene deserves more recognition. Let's hope for better reception

I think they mean "old" in like idol terms. Once you hit late 20s and have impending military service you're considered old for an idol since most idols debut in their mid teens - early 20s and a lot of groups don't make it that far past that age. Being an idol usually involves a lot of dancing, which can be a pretty large physical strain, and trying to keep up with fast paced dancing is much harder at 27 than it is at 17, regardless of how well in shape you are. It doesn't seem like it's that old, but even when you're in late 20s, your more prone to back and knee issues than you ever were in your teens. Infinite are all in their mid-late 20s and they said they really started to feel their age in their last comeback because keeping up with the dancing was much harder. Groups like Shinhwa or Sech Kies are considered like ancient in idol terms, and all of them are only like late 30s almost 40.
