I agree that the writing started to get wonky towards the end. Not lazy but very rushed. Probably due to the uncertainty of if another season would be green lit

@ true. But I’m talking about during the writing phase. The season had to be completed and viewed by executives long before we see anything. That’s more than likely when they were given a green light for a season 2. There have been many shows that end on cliff hangers for this very reason.

@ziljin I love the boys too! I'm not saying that Amazon can't deliver a good show. They are trying to add female custodes which doesn't mean anything to most people but it means a gigantic hole in the lore for warhammer fans. Space marines and custodes are made from the Emporors all male gene seed. If a female were to be injected with the gene seed she would die a painful agonizing death. This part of the lore was established about 20 years ago and has been built upon since then. Henry Cavill is currently fighting them to keep 40k lore accurate. You can look it up yourself.

@TheLovelySHOT games workshop the loremasters did that. Not amazon. Of they own the ip and omwrite the lore they are free to make any changes they want. Unless someone else buys the ip from them nothing can be done about it.

I want to like this series, but it's clear Patterson's subpar writing has too much influence. Hodges is a great actor, but some actors are failed by the material.

This show was so horribly bad, I had to constantly stop. I barely got through the second episode. I actually stopped during episode 2 just write a bad review. The writing, the lighting, the tired cliches, and stereotypes made me stand in a corner talking to myself how bad this show is. The dialogue is so terrible it made the Actors look bad. Amazon Studios should give everybody one month free. They knew it was bad because they released all the episodes at once.....tread lightly good people.

Man, this show was a disappointment. After Jack Ryan, Bosch and Reacher, I had hope. I tired to dismiss the failed No Remorse... but! Amazon let me down. Plot holes, lazy writing, too many directors and you can feel and see from each episode. 🙄And the blm stuff... it was like it was written in 2020 and no one bothered to update the script. We all know he's "black" no need for the million and one references.
