Todays style is a recreation of Ariana's signature ponytail.

I wish I could add a pic to this comment because I've just done this hairstyle on myself and I love it! I changed it slightly at the front because I've got a side parting and a slanting fringe so I've kept my fringe and done a little separate bit on the other side like how I usually have my hair When I have it up and it looks great. My sister has very fine, short bits of hair like that, except they're right at the front of her hairline around the temple, so they show up pretty much anytime she wears her hair up. Any tips for hiding them?

I would try and pull some loose strands out from the top of the head to disguise the shorter bits around the ears 💗

I don’t do it all the time, but sometimes I use a micro crimper to give a little more volume to the hair. It’s not essential to create the style though 😊

You could, however to would be very difficult to Pull very thin hair to this size braid. Also it would loosen the style, whereas using elastics, the style stays secure all day 💕
