what a tasty rig , i'm amazed tamiya don't build things like this , i'm guessing the beast will easily pull a full sized car along ! .

So they say it’s a 1/12 scale but how does it compare to a 1/10 or if you have something to compare it to cab size

What all will need to complete the build for the mammoth? And are you still running the stock motor and if not what motor are you running in there now?

I was going to ask you how you felt about this machine and then I found your message. I'm definitely gonna grab one of these instead of the 802. This thing is really bad ass looking.
@thatsmyrc3 жыл бұрын
@@rcscalebuilders8268 I’ve never owned this rig but it’s a beastZ. I have a few other cross models and they are solid rocks. The 802 is a beast as well but as were cross rigs do offer a better quality rig st higher price. The trailer for this rig isn’t cheep either. There is a combo for sale on eBay. The guy is asking like 4K for both units built 😬💸💸💸. If I find the video there is a guy who has both set ups with trailers you can see the difference. I remember he mentioned to me that he actually likes the hg trailer better as it rides better more stable less wag on the coupler as the cross trailer
@thatsmyrc3 жыл бұрын
Btw was putting my tracks back on using adj clamp etc driving pin in as gingerly as possible resting it over the gear drive so it would have solid leverage to keep from breaking. Just My luck the back side of track snapped 🤬. Pot metal and the spares the underside of track is jacked shaped from factory not in align. So now I just had to order a handful to have around until I get the new tracks ordered. After I run the dozer few times
@rcscalebuilders82683 жыл бұрын
@@thatsmyrc I'll definitely get the kits. I really love building models to so that will be fun for me. I will be just as excited about the build as the result. I've been watching a ton of videos with the trailer also and I like how the T247 trailer looks less modern then the 806 trailer. I cant believe the suspension articulation on the BC8.

Not to mention you also need a remote and I think a servo speed control for this kit cause I don’t think it comes with it. Unless you meant how much it’s going to cost all together 🤔

"This is gorgeous, this is beautiful" - a bottle of bonding liquid? Dude, if that kind of thing excites you, you're facing a potential heart attack when you actually get into the model parts!
@yurifrommw2154 жыл бұрын
Honestly though. It takes patience to put these awesome things together. Like a journey 😂
@Loulovesspeed4 жыл бұрын
@@yurifrommw215 I'm quite used to model projects that require a great deal of patience. I built a Pocher 1:8 scale 1935 Mercedes Benz 500 K some 43 years ago. If you're not familiar with this company's products, they are among the highest detailed model kits of any kind in the world. You have to build each wheel, one stainless steel spoke at a time, and there are 6 of them (2 spares). The frame and most of the chassis components are metal and are assembled with miniature nuts and bolts. Doors open, windows roll up and down and the suspension and steering are operative. You have to upholster the seats and inside doors with leatherette material provided and build the seats with coil springs, nuts, bolts and screws. Material is provided for a cloth convertible top, but you must stitch it just like the original around the edges. I believe this kit had 2,368 parts in it! It took me just over a year in my spare time to build it. I painted it with 6 coats of gloss black and it looks fantastic. This model required all the patience I had, and then some, but was well worth it in the end. I think I paid around $275 for it in 1977, which was roughly equal to $1.350 today! If you can find one on E-bay, that's about what you will pay. I am in the process of building the Cross HC-6 RC, six wheel drive military truck - very nicely made kit.

Loulovesspeed I have the RC Mrap Cougar 6 x 6 made by Henguan. Its an RTR even though it was $700-$800 but I ended up having to spend THREE hours taking apart and putting the Lower half and axles back together since they came loose and where not screwed properly because the manufactures are meatheads. But the company makes good quality cars. They give their RTR’s kit quality 👌
@Loulovesspeed4 жыл бұрын
@@yurifrommw215 That's exactly right, if the best kit in the world isn't assembled properly, it becomes a disaster waiting to happen. My latest gig is a Traxxas M-41 Wide body RC electric hydroplane. I have upgraded the water cooling pickups, the prop, and put in a GPS to track the speed. I've had it up to just over 53 mph! You're never too old to have fun. Keep that in mind as you grow older!

Americans don't know where Ukraine is - do you think they know it's a Russian MAZ? They believe what it is written in the NYT or on the box of this RC-model, which is undoubtedly assembled in a factory in China. ;)
