CROSS RC DEMON | SG4C | BFRC - RC Trailblazer

Welcome pals! And back at it with the Demon!
I really like driving this truck, although it does have a large downfall in the size of it's battery compartment. So far I have only been able to fit a 1500Mah battery in the rig. Which can make for a pretty short trail run. I will have to stock up on more of these batteries to get it out to some of the deeper trail runs.
None the less this rig is a blast, although it can be top heavy give the shocks some love and you will keep it on the ground. Unless of course your Girlfriend is driving it with a heavy GoPro mounted on top lol ;-)

Nice video. We at Cross RC US are working with Venom batteries to make a larger capacity battery to fit the Demon series truck. Specifically the SG4, SP4, and SU4 series. These truck all use a between rail under bed battery tray that is odd size to say the least.

Next time you are there can you start your video looking up at that cool place from next to the highway or as close as you can walk down the hill for the ones like me that can't crawl there without driving from the east coast.

That's perfect if you want to sacrifice articulation. I just run slightly firmer than melted butter suspension and my twist disappeared. People want battery soft suspension then complain about twist!

Love the channel Terry and have to say a massive congrats on what you have done for the rc community with the Blackfoot scale park, its defo one on my bucket list to visit Blackfoot and to go trailing in Alberta. With living in UK its not that easy though but i have been looking to see how much it woukd be for a 2 week vacation there so hopefully in the near future. RC Trailblazer sorry Terry, after watching a few of your videos i had to get out and go on a trail, so i grabbed my TRX4 and went out at 2:00 and didnt get back till 8:45. Yeah its not the best of places to find trails but there are a couple. I live in a place called Gateshead which is right next to Newcastle Upon Tyne. It looks awesome and beautiful where you are with Blackfoot, Drumheller and all the other places there, i really like the look of Grotto Canyon and if i do get to come over i woukd want to hire a 4x4 so i could trail the lot. Again really sorry for the reply but i needed to get out with my rig. Best addiction you could ever have. Stay safe pal. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

I've heard due to the weight of the vehicle, the transfer case has issues due to smaller gear sets. Also I've heard of drive shaft issues. What do you think? Great Rig btw!

I'm pretty sure there is a weak part somewhere I'm just not sure where yet. Feels like the transmission is soft. I have also it can be hard to find replacement parts... I guess you'll know when I break it haha but nothing yet buddy:-) Have a great night!

Heck yeah! sounds like a great idea! It's too bad you guys couldn't make it sooner. We have a pretty cool charity event at the end of September! It's a Big Brothers & Big Sisters Canada event, tons of good folks just hanging out. Hopefully we will have our DJ Jonny there also! :-)
