I have been cross-stitching and crocheting for many years. Love combining them with card making.

Yes! Love the stitching added to cards for such a unique look! My grandma tried to teach me to crochet when I was a kid, but could not sit still and focus :( But then my daughter teaches herself all kinds of things like crocheting by watching videos lol!

Rebecca - keep these cross stitching videos coming!! I am like you stitched years ago and picking it up again to add to my love of card making. I am so excited to find these kits as that is what I need the most are the designs already made! The Waffle Flower video for stitching was wonderful also! Looking forward to seeing what comes next!! Thank you again for this delightful video!

WOW!!!! Truly jam packed with loads of goodies!!! I love cross stitching, but think I need to get more experience in my card making skills before I try to integrate a new technique 🤣🤣🤣. The card was sweet, and the cross stitching adds a ‘homey warmth’ to it ,if that makes sense. Again thank you for the giggles!! You never disappoint !!

Yes, when they say Want it All, they mean it lolol! I love kits like that where you really don't need to go outside the kit for anything at all! I totally know what you mean. The cross stitch adds a real sense of nostalgia to it! Again, thank YOU for watching all the way until the end!💕

I used to cross a lot when I was in my 20s and 30s but I can't see well enough anymore to do it. But I love it, and I love it on the cards!
@RebeccaKeppel2 жыл бұрын
I hadn't done any in a long time, but like you I noticed my eyesight is way different. I was able to get it done because the die cut holes are much larger than the tiny holes in the canvas, but still I needed a bright light on to get anything done!
@stephanieloughead44792 жыл бұрын
Rebecca you did an amazing job. I haven't cross stitched in years. I use to love to but my eyes aren't the greatest so I need to get a brighter light to work under. This is such a great idea and I am glad that you did a video on this. It's so pretty and elegant. Thank you so much 😊

Thank you so much, Stephanie! I found the same to be true for me! We were watching a hockey game while I was stitching and I needed the living room lights fully on! I may need to try out one of those OTT lamps but I know they can get pretty pricey. 😬 I too love the idea of combining these two crafts! Thank you so much for watching!💕

I love cross stitching - I've been stitching off and on since I was eight, and I'd love to combine the two hobbies. I wish there was a pattern only option, but the cardmaker kit would probably be best for my stash.

Oh wow, I love those! I have the sewing skills of a rabid hyena, but these kinda make me want to learn... I might have the time too, I fell and broke my hip (🙄 because I'm 90 or something), just had a rod and screws put in. Will have plenty of time to learn a new skill. Thanks, this video was great, I love what you made!
@RebeccaKeppel2 жыл бұрын
OH NO Michele! A rod and screws!? That sounds so painful. 😭 I hope you are being well taken care of!💕 And while you're resting, maybe learning cross stitch could be fun???! You cracked me up with the visual of a rabid hyena. And honestly the backsides of any of my stitching projects bring the same visual to mind! LOL. I can't wrap my head around anyone whose back side of a cross stitch project looks as neat as the front! On a side note, I am hoping you don't have stairs in your house? I am realizing what an error we made buying a two story house years ago. Now we have an 100lb dog with knee issues and a 16 year old with multiple torn ligaments in her ankle. :( Should've bought the ranch style house. :\
@michelefrost7342 жыл бұрын
@@RebeccaKeppel Your poor daughter! Those are the types of injuries that follow you throughout your life. But she's got a great momma looking after her 😉 And your doggie 💔. My brother in law really likes Harlequin Great Danes, has raised several throughout the years. Unfortunately they're prone to musculoskeletal problems, like any of the big doggies. So hard to watch them struggle... Oh, and of course we have a two story house. I now have one walker for upstairs and one downstairs. Totally ridiculous. And I can't drive yet, which is maddening. But this too shall pass. I hope.
@RebeccaKeppel2 жыл бұрын
@@michelefrost734 It is so true unfortunately. In 9th grade she tore a several ligaments in her left ankle. Last year the season was cancelled bc of everything going on and this year she tore several in the right ankle. :( She wasn't hoping to play on a division team in college or anything, but it is the one physical activity that she actually enjoys. The vet thinks our boy has some Dane in him and did mention that they do tend to have tears in their knee ligaments. :( We are hoping to see a physical therapist and see if we can avoid surgery. Drats a two story house for you too. What were we thinking?! I'm sure it is super frustrating feeling stuck, but if you fully take care of it and heal it now, you'll be so much happier in the long run. Just think...more time to craft! Hoping you are pain free and back to driving asap!

Hey there, my friend. I never learned cross stitch. I learned embroidery, crochet and knitting. I wish I had learned though. Have you been cross stitching long? Yours are so sweet. Once again, your color choices are incredible.

Hi Debby! Isn't that funny! My grandma crocheted and I really wish I had asked her to teach me. :( But I used to cross stitch in elementary school. My best friend and I would go to this huge craft store at Christmas and her mom bought us this little kits to cross stitch ornaments. I loved them, but I had a bad habit of starting them and never finishing them. This kit is called Want it All and they mean it lol! Everything was included and I was so happy to complete the little roses!

@@RebeccaKeppel my 6th grade teacher taught anyone who wanted to learn how to knit during recess everyday. My class had about 50 kids. Small town, great way to grow up. Out of 50 in my class, only 2 kids who started with our graduating class, graduated together. Short way 48 of us started kindergarten and all graduated high school together. It’s like having 50 brothers and sisters. Lol. I am proud of being from a farming town in Iowa.

So glad to hear that! I want to share all the info without droning on lol! I definitely liked having the Want it All kit, but yes, it is the most expensive option. I do like how they have various subscription options that would save some money though! And they do have individual products as add ons depending on what you already have in your stash.
