Finally made this bag today and man, did I learn a lot! First, don’t pick a main fabric that your machine can’t sew when folded over to about 8 layers (the strap anchors). The size is perfect for me and I’ll make another with the lessons I learned. Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us! Love your teaching style.

Well, this is quite a complex thing to answer...you can definitely make this bag larger in any size that you want, however you need to make some adjustments for the measurements of the zipper panels. Here's my suggestion: The length of your zipper panel should be : the width of your exterior piece - 2.5". (for example, in this video the width of my exterior piece is 12.5", hence my zipper panel is 10" long...say the width of your external piece is 14", you should cut your zipper panel 11.5"long)***these are the raw measurements with the seam allowance included. For the width of the zipper panels is up to you, but I suggest not to make them wider than the depth of your bag, example in this project, the depth of my bag is 3"...I made the finished width of the zipper panels to be 1" each side (hence the depth of my recessed zipper is 2.5" included the zipper) since we use the fold and press method, the exact measurements of the zipper panels that you need to cut should be multiplied by 4x... again example in this project, since I wanted the finished width of the zipper panel to be 1", I cut my fabric 4x1" = 4" wide The length of the zipper is again up to you...Just make it a bit longer than the width of your exterior piece This is what I do for this particular project, feel free to modify it your way... * I hope this explains you well, let me know if you have any other questions. * PS : I'm actually planning to make the larger version of this bag in the near future..stay tuned...;)

Anytime Michelle! here's my recommendation if you cut one 14.5" wide -zipper length : at least 14" -zipper panels : 12" x 6" (cut 2x) -box the corners of your bag to 4" or 5" deep (cut the square corners 2" or 2.5" squares) whichever one you prefer. -Follow the assembling of the recessed zipper (and the bag) pretty much the same way as the video **I'm still on planning stage of the video, which will take a while to execute, since I've got different projects that I've been working on, but it is on my list..so bear with me :)

Hi Yoan, I love your videos. But I have difficulty understanding some measures, as I am Brazilian and I do not know how to work in inches. You would have to put the measurements in centimeters too or in the video show the measurements in the rules. Thank you and congratulations.
