Crossbreed holster best way to carry a gun. Not the system most think about.

Glad you are recovering well that is a scary deal with the heart. I was curious does the Crossbreed band itself have any kind of material on the inside that helps keep it from riding up and down? I know some put a silicone strip at the top and bottom edge of the band so that even in sweaty conditions it does not move around, was just curious it this system sported a similar feature? I like that it will allow you to swap kydex modules for different firearms, I also like the fact that the kydex itself does not make contact with the body as it often digs in and becomes uncomfortable depending on activity and body positioning. Okay, right off, i want to say THANK YOU for this information! I live in Vegas as well and you're the first person i've seen show shorts/t-shirts/hot weather climate carrying. We wear shorts and t-shirts 8 months a year. Most reviewers are super tall, skinny people in Montana in winter, with big boots, jackets or jeans and shirts with some other garment over the top of that. That's not realistic here or AZ. If you walked around here with boots,tactical pants, shirt and heavy flannel, you'd really stand out in a bad way. I love that you're also an average build guy, not a muscle bound Internet Navy Seal. I use the CB holster on my Comfort Tac belly band. The Cross Breed band is a little short for me to put the loose end over the holster as directed. The Comfort Tac is about 6" longer.

Have lived in AZ my entire 47 years and just like you wear clothing that is not conducive to normal concealment. I tried to get one of these today for my G48 MOS and they are out of stock. Hopefully they will be back in stock soon. Thanks for the review.

Hope youre healing well! My mom had stints put in last yr too and is healing nicely, thank God =) I just got my Crossbreed in today and so far, love it. I did have to paly around with it to adjust it...I like to holster it right in the center of my boobs, lol, for lack of a better word, high up under my rib cage bc being thinner and a jeans and tshirt wearer, its harder to hide it lower on me. I find 'high & tight" is best lol! I also have a Sig (P238 Spartan 2) and bc its a lil heavy, I needed the kydex and I like that it has no retention strap to worry about getting in the way! I also have a ComforTac, but aside from the snap over retention strap, I HATE HATE the SMELL!!!! OMG, it actually started to turn my stomach and I am RARELY bothered by something like that! I honestly thought maybe I didnt clean my firearm good enough OR I put too much oil...then later i took the band off and realized Omg, its the BAND that has that funky smell! Its really comfortable for ON SKIN belly band, BUT the smell drives me insane. Im going to see if I can't wash it a few times and see if that smell comes out. I think the ComfortTac will be a good summer band. I like that I can bend, squat, lean over, etc and not have to worry about it falling out and even at work I dont have to worry someone might bump into me and feel it. I also ordered the Mini Tuck with the band and the bedside holster too. The bedside one is nice for when you take the band off, you just take the whole holster and stick it to the bedside holster system and there it is! =)

@@gunguy8348 yaa, I think for the ComfortTac belly band, it's the Neoprene lining inside the band that has the funky smell to it, lol, and like I said normally that stuff doesn't bother me, but I can smell it through my clothes, even over my perfume, lol! Maybe with all the weird shortages, they had to use a different company or material they normally use, idk because it's unfortunate. I love the Crossbreed belly band though, & am very happy I ordered it. I also like that Crossbreed gives you two weeks to return it if you find you don't like it. Big selling point for me, considering they are on the expensive side, but also well made so I completely understand that. But that they back up their products with a pretty generous return policy is a big plus for me 😁

Great review! I like the way you place the focus on the items and not on your face like most YTers. My only nit to pick is that you say that one holster (Alien Gear?) is a total sweat collector but then rave about a belly band that's probably collecting more sweat 360 degrees. Am I wrong?

You could but it will stretch the material out and wouldn’t last long. The band from crossbreeds cost almost the same as a comfort tac you’re better off ordering it right from their website with your shell.

Thanks for the review. I also carry a Glock 26 and I am considering this Crossbreed system. Have you had any issues with bending over and accidentally releasing your magazine? I saw one review on the Crossbreed system and that was an issue for the reviewer.

I haven’t. I carry at 3 o’clock position no problems. Mine is the gen3 with the small mag button. The Gen 4 and 5 have a larger mag button that may be the cause.
