I love how much thought and effort you put into your makeup, hun! 😍 loved watching how you do your process! I have been wondering if I ought to invest in lip liner 🤔 i think you may have convinced me to! 🥰😘
@CrossdressingLifestyle3 ай бұрын
Ah thank you. I think lip liner is a must as I said in the video the one I used is part of a set and is as cheap as it comes but extremely effective. I normally use a branded one (MAC Cosmetics) but they are so much more expensive and to be honest no better. Huge thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it is so appreciated.

Wonderful demonstration Dear! I am over 60 and I still go out pretty often. I think you have to pick make-up and outfits fitting your age and build. A 65 year old 300 pounder does not dress like a Dallas Cowboy Cheer Leader and go to your local 5-star restaurant. Just think if you are at that 5-star restaurant and that person walked in: would you take that situation seriously? Using a little planning goes a long way.
@CrossdressingLifestyle3 ай бұрын
You are spot on in your comments and observations. One needs to consider ones environment and dress accordingly, however, from time to time its nice to stand out from the crowd in a glamorous way don't you think. Thank you for watching and commenting it is so appreciated. xx

@@CrossdressingLifestyle half the reason I dress as if I walked off the set of "Hello Dolly!" Is to stand out. I hate to say it but when I walk into my favorite restaurant dressed in a ball gown and everyone else is sort of bland it is amazing. I brighten the room. People start talking. The manager normally comes out to greet me and we talk. Dressing like you are series about yourself radiates to other people. They take notice and it changes how they interact with you. I even dress fancy for trips to the grocery store!

A little late to the party, or comments section, but Sophie, that was a magical and inspirational video, especially for someone like myself of, ahem, a certain age. I have one question that I'm sure most of us, of all ages, would love to see answered, and that is - do you have a foolproof (i.e. practical for a cack-handed person such as myself) method of facial shaving? No matter how many times I drag a sharp object across my face, I still end up with five o'clock shadow, no matter what time of day! Your face though is always immaculately smooth.
@CrossdressingLifestyle3 ай бұрын
Hi Penny as a matter of fact I have a particular way of shaving to be honest. I must pretext that with the fact that I have had some facial IPL work done over the years and as a result I have "some" reduction in the number of facial hairs. In saying that I still have quite a lot of hair. When it comes to shaving I use a wet razer I find the electrical ones aggravate my skin and just don't work for me. The process is: 1. Using hot water (as Hot as I can take) wash face, this opens the paws 2. Lather and shave as normal 3. Apply a good moisturiser (a thick one) leave on the skin for 1-2 minutes then shave it off against the grain. 4. Submerge my face in very cold even ice water to shock the paws close and retract any hair. 5. Apply a standard moisturiser - I sometimes apply perfume before moisturiser to shock the skin but not always. Take it easy on step three you can almost hear the sound of the blade cutting the hairs you have missed. If you still have a shadow then thats going to be down to your skins undertone in which case you will need to apply a form of beard cover prior to applying your foundation.

@@CrossdressingLifestyle great advice there Sophie, many thanks. I will definitely be trying that method. I hadn't thought to use moisturiser as a alternative to shaving gel 🤔, what a great idea!

Great comments, I did have some work on my eyes a couple of years back but it is getting hard to stem the tide if you know what I mean. Huge thanks for watching and commenting it is so appreciated.

Hi, A couple of things I do when shaving "might" make a difference. Start with very hot water applied to your face. I normally submerge my face in the sink for a while. This opens up the pores of the skin more. Then a standard wet shave with the grain. For the second stage, I apply baby oil or a moisturiser to a thick layer and shave against the grain. Once I have done that, I will plunge my face into ice water, which is as cold as I can get. Any hairs I can see I will tweezer out these are sometimes present just under the nose in that awkward place to hit with a razer. There are forms of stage makeup that can be used to cover acne scars even quite deep ones. It is a form of cosmetic "putty" sounds odd but does work. You can have a look around the Kryolan Cosmetics site or you could try looking at this link www.wikihow.com/Cover-Acne-Scars-with-Makeup I hope that helps?
