My massage therapist goes to this kind of stuff along with estate sales. Says TONS of people going to these now trying to do picking so they can sell enough to pay their mortgage or car payment each month because they have no money. Looks like that kind of thing is going to get more and more saturated as people get desperate to subsidize their lifestyle. They mentioned recently that consumers put another 20 billion on credit cards in past few months. With high interest rates they keep digging themselves deeper in debt.

We had a black rotary phone that we used up until the Mid 90's I called my doctor on that phone when I was in labor with my daughter. Sadly San Diego doesn't support analog phones anymore.

The Salvation Army and Goodwill now sells anything of value online, leaving the junk for in store customers. Our yard sale season starts soon, I hope the prices aren't high. I understand this is how you make a living, but with so many of you filming for youtube, showing your profit, naturally thrift stores and others will raise their prices. Not everyone is a re seller. Thrift stores were such a blessing to low income earners. It was a chance to have nice things. Or foster parents. Did you know most foster children usually show up with next to nothing, or young families just starting out, or people who lost everything because of fire. I have nothing against the way youtubers make a living but dang, posting your profits caused all Thrift stores to raise prices, or sell online at high prices. The real losers are those who depended on thrift stores or yard sales for other reasons besides reselling.
