Serato Studio is great for doing quick mash ups or bootlegs with acapellas, but for intro edits, nothing is going to be faster than Ableton.

The track view SERIOUSLY needs the option to have a better way to view the bar numbers and counts, similar to a beat grid view. Trying to count shit you drop in there, or count time for everything, or trying to count all those barely visible bars is enough to drive you fookin' mad. It shows time which is basically useless where it counts to have your track phrasing set up properly. That whole section needs LOTS of work to make it friendlier to view. Why only half screen view too? I like it overall but its clunky and not user friendly in lots of ways also.

Serato Studio actually has the key wrong, the chords are Bbm, Gb, Fm7, F7.

Wow. So just hitting play then stop on the space bar creates a loop? Seems pretty simple for intros.

Thanks for this. I will watch all 6 parts. Im brand new to Serato Studio and to be honest Im finding it to be fucking horrible. Nothing is intuative. All I want to be able to do is to effortlessly work with blocks of bars. Move them at will. Drop them where I like. Delete them if I want. I was expecting something simple like a right click drop down menu to instantly do these things too. Honestly my first impressions are that I hate it and it reminds me of what this shit was like before computers became user friendly. I hope your course will help because my first impressions are very dissapointing.

you can. there is a grid correct feature when your bring a song or sample into the project

Not really a grid correct but you have the ability to manually correct the grid like you would in Ableton.
