great mix mate I think the controller limits your creative flow here abit by not having pads, what's admirable and all DJs learning should see this , is pitch control movements even on controllers like this, sometimes being slightly off in places adds rawness bit of edge to the mix

Excellent mix! The only downside I found was in the end, there was mabe a little too much use of slip loop but still fire.

XDJ-R2 is complete, XDJ-RR is cheaper version, not as complete as RX2, but for beginner and most DJ, RR is more than enough

I usually love these mixes, but this is pretty poor. Overuse of effects, especially the slip loop/roll. The songs aren't in time when he's bringing them in for the first few seconds.

Sorry you’re not a fan of this one. Hopefully you’ll stick about and keep checking the weekly mixes. We try to vary the styles/mixing techniques each week. Granted there was quite a bit of slip loop going on. Just getting a bit trigger happy in the mix haha.

Jem Yildirim I'm experienced club dj and I thought it was fine mate, let's not forget this is raw performance on the fly on this controller , you can see he uses pitch control and sometimes that raw not so clean sounding mixes adds a edge for me

@@FSwiftDJ I can't argue with that- a bit or "rawness" is refreshing over a mix with no flair. I think it was probably just the overuse of effects for me then, because there's no denying he's a very skilled DJ

Jem Yildirim yes agree too many DJs over use the effects out there with timing or when to apply them , you can mess up your mix or set easily even top club festival DJs do this a lot
