Bought a course from Crossfader, which I'm enjoying. This "Click for something free!!" thing is pretty off-putting tho. Because you don't actually get the thing they say you're getting. Feels like false advertising and slimy.

There are Variables with pitch & Tempo depending on the source recording , DAT, Vinyl , CD etc Vinyl will have not as exact tempo as most vinyl recordings are not recorded on 0% pitch master tempo , they are 0.5 or plus 1% pitch , it really depends how your music is rendered by source on the exact tempo read ,some Cubase early late 90s tracks had tempos not exact numbers for vinyl analog pressing ! the D/A factor is another when playback in tempo or pitch , another is real drummers ( off grid breaks ) don't always take for granted what displays say on DJ software use your ear or tap tempo

Hey Lawrence, got any tips about timing? I found it easier to do baby scratches first on impact beats (not all 4). I still cannot do the timing with baby scratching on all 4 beats
