i respect your opinion and i like those guys too, but in my opinion ken is not easily one of the best vocalists out there, i mean if you like him most thats cool with me, but vocalists like Frankie Palmeri, Alex Koehler, Adrian Fitipaldales, Winston Mccall, C.J. Mcmahoon, and the ( in my opinion ) best vocalist in the whole metal genre, Phil Bozeman are just from their vocal performance waaay better but lets not start a fight about which vocalist is the best, i realy recommend to check out those guys and their bands, fucking sick guys!

Tobias Taubitz Sure Bozeman and Mccall are good but (don't get me wrong I love Emmure) Palmeri seriously? Ken brings incredible power and the some of the best mid-range schemes in the business if you ask me, I'm a huge architects fan but there is footage of him (on youtube somewwere) taking the mic from sam and honestly delivering some insane power on the verse of 'Even if you win...' and live he's just so impressive and energetic the whole band are, but yeah lets just maintain a friendly discussion about it ;)

Miles Hunt first of all its cool that we are not insulting each other about different opinions but can have a normal discussion, a thing which is rare to see on youtube :D have you watched phil bozeman doing suicide silence "unanswerd" at the mitch lucker memorial show? hands down, that is literally the best live performance in metal history that i am aware of. if you didnt watch it, then i highly recommend doing so. i like ken as a vocalist and frontman, he brings soling and good performance, on records and live, but i just dont think he is that special you know? not meant as an insult, once again, i really like him. but all those vocalists i mentioned in my first comment are special and unique, and being unique is what ken isnt if you ask me, its not like you hear him scream and think " woah i never heard someone doing screams like him! " but thats just my opinion, looking forward to hear yours ^^ and in terms of frankie palmerie; he has that being unique factor i was talking about, i dont think there would be ANY person in the world who knows at least a bit about metal who would confuse him with someone else after hearing a few emmure songs. and i personally really like how he sounds but thats a question of taste if somebody doenst like how he sounds that fine with me :D

fair enough dude and I have seen the unanswered cover and it is beast, so's most of whitechapel's stuff and I get what your saying about Frankie being pretty unique, I love MDMA (the song I might add) even though a lot of people don't dig the vocal technique on that song, still based on the bands I've seen live I'd say my favourite vocalists are Sam Carter, Jesse Leach, Sean Smith(believe it or not, he sounded great even though it was an intimate gig and he was constantly getting knocked about) and Ken, but based on studio stuff, Winston Mccall definitely in, Eddie Hermida's new stuff with suicide silence is boss as fuck and the bury tomorrow vocalists, nice chatiing, but I may not reply for the next couple of days because I have tonnes of work :).

I've been listening to them since there first album.. these guys have grown and deserve a lot more! Way better than half of the mainstream metal artists you see now. With a US and another UK tour coming up, I highly recommend going to see these guys if you haven't. They are fantastic live!

Yes everyone that is Austin Carlisle. They toured with OM&M back in April and May in 2012. They filmed it on that tour, you can tell because it says on the back wall "The Sugarmill" a venue they played at while on that tour.

Runkman Dir En Grey, Maximum the Hormone, Crossfaith, Mucc and The Gazette are my dream Japanese tour for America. I'd buy tickets right there if that shit happens. But Crystal Lake and Babymetal are also pretty damn good. Plus I'd also say you should check out Deadman, Galneryus, Girugamesh and Lost Eden if your looking for high quality Japanese metal.
