This was my introduction to Crossfaith, before they blew up and became as popular as they are now. The selfie I took with Kenta Koie will remain one of my best memories!
Crossfaith is the cleanest metal band I've ever heard. Never before have I experienced a band this heavy that is able to keep their vocals, rhythms, and instrumentals so together that it almost has a classical effect. Their melodies are far more complex than any other scream based band I've heard (aside from mathcore, but nobody likes that), and not to mention the originality of the synth and piano schematics.

saw these guys by accident at a festival at the start of the year. it was 1130 in the morning and we where just checking out the layout of the festival and stumbled across these guys mid show and they where playing like headliners. one of the best things I saw in a very long day which in included the likes of Metallica, BMTH, KE, Cypress Hill, Madball, BFMV and Kingdom of Sorrrow.

Japanese and Russian music is so good! I'm mostly into Russian metal/deathcore simply because I only know of two Japanese metalcore bands. But Japanese rap is pretty sweet too. Especially guys like ONI.
@I_am_Jordan_K9 жыл бұрын
SFxTAGG3 Check out Nocturnal Bloodlust (older stuff), Dir en Grey (they have some death metal/core stuff), 2side1brain, Her Name In Blood, Ashley Scared the Sky, Fear From the Hate....that's all that's coming to mind right now
@Bornagainvillain9 жыл бұрын
There's also Crystal Lake, Each of The Days, Angry Frog Rebirth, Abstracts, Coldrain, Pay Money To My Pain, Dazzle Vision(broke up), Head Phones President.

Jarrin Davis Each of the Days, I knew I was forgetting somebody. I didn't include a few of those bands though because they seemed to be more interested in heavier stuff
@SFxTAGG39 жыл бұрын
EpsilonX Are they screaming and singing in Japanese or English? I like Russian music partly because I'm learning to speak and read Russian. But also because I like the way other languages sound.
@Bornagainvillain9 жыл бұрын
Most of the bands I listed scream in English. Angry Frog Rebirth jumps around sometimes. Some songs are in barely understandable English, and some are in Japanese.

i despise them now. Back when this song came out and before it was metal core with a synth and now it's synth with instruments. Sounds softened up and unoriginal.

@Flokker10 жыл бұрын
Solaniin Personall I think it's because the band kind of changed it's face, from grungy gritty melodic death / metalcore / electronica to a more electronic and less gritty form of metal, thats what made the band so special to me, I simply cannot listen to the latest album without cringing, it's nothing like their old shit like this, just listen to 2:32 or 3:49 - granted that's some pretty standard melodic death metal / metalcore way of going through a song, but that's exactly what I miss now. Atleast Blood Stain Child's new stuff is promising.
