@@Myke001 I don't mind the run - could get pretty interesting with people rubbin' elbows to chase the win...and also how they strategize the run before the sprint...

Love this!!! You test both long distance and sprint. Sprint already requires high power output but then you add weight. Great test because few people will do great in both the mile and sprints. Anyone who stinks at the mile may push too hard and gas out then collapse on the sprint. Doing the long then short is smart. Also it’s going to require strategy because there’s more time to make up on the mile than the sprints but blowing up on the mile will ruin your sprint.

Are Athletes going to be allowed to throw the sandbag like shown versus having to cross the end zone or wherever the starting point is? The lane pillars do look like they a yard or two behind the actual 50 & 75 but curious how strict the judges will be. I would think you could definitely use momentum to launch that thing if you wanted to a couple yards away but then again you might spend more energy then needed by doing that.

I like this. My guess is that the scoring is accumulative (eg. Tudor's times were 5m36s(ish) in the mile & 1m05s(ish) on the sprint, so total time of 6m41s). Also since the rest is not specified, I would guest the athletes will have from minute 0 to minute 8 (or maybe 10) to run the mile, then the sprint will start right after.
@Pepesilvia2675 ай бұрын
I’m hoping the rest is kept to a minimum so that the mile does affect the sprint. Anything over 4 minutes is basically a full reset IMO.
