This was a great hike. Completed the 10.3 mile loop two days ago. Most people tackle the steep northern trail first, we did it the opposite way and were glad we did that portion down hill. When I went across first there were people waiting on the other side so we booked across quickly. Wish I had more time to take photos like you did. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

This is located in the Flat Tops Wilderness area in Colorado. Southwest of Steamboat Springs. Maybe it isn't the hike for everyone, but I believe in living life to the fullest and not living in fear. The way I see it, I was probably at more risk driving there and back than I was on the hike, but I appreciate your comments and thank you for watching. Take care.

Beautiful places in Colorado that are slowly being ruined by out of state people. Ten years ago you could go anywhere up there and see minimal people. You go up there now on the east side and it’s crowed with hipsters.

Not sure quite how to take your comment. I am from outside the state of Colorado, and would like to think I treated the area with respect . As for people, I always try to go off season and during the week so I can avoid as many people as possible. I saw very few on the trail. I do understand it is getting harder and harder to find solitude these days. We just have to try the best we can, as it is good for the soul. Take care and thanks for visiting the channel.

Are you Ute, Cheyenne, etc? If not maybe check your own privilege? 🤔 😂
