There are thousands of Ghanaians who passed through that route and they all share the same stories. Thousands, if not millions, have died trying to cross the desert and the Mediterranean Sea. A lot has died in Libya too. The Italians have really tried and deserve gratitude cuz the number of people they have rescued on the Mediterranean Sea and helped settle in their country since the past 40 years is mind-blowing. Hopefully, we will get compassionate leaders someday who will turn things around.

I almost went to Libya too around 2008 but I slept off and the people I was supposed to go with left me behind. I later heard only two of them survive. One in Brazil n one in Italy. I thank God I was left behind if not I may not be alive too😕
