This video was so beautiful. It felt like I was actually walking up the stone stairs lined with lanterns; trekking by magnificent temples and venerated shrines; surrounded by gravestones and statues, past trickling streams, and under magnificent snowy pine trees draped in snow. You could feel the winter chill in the air on your face, and smell the aroma of damp foliage mixed with wet snow in the air. In the quiet, there was a profound link to nature and the spiritual world. Unfortunately, about half way through the video, near the summit, the loud banging sounds of shovels by workers scraping off snow started, and the shouting of some tourists, sort of broke the mood. But the lively village, the Buddhist chants, drums, and bells of morning rituals, and the roaring sound of the river, ended things on a positive and energized note.

この鞍馬→貴船へ抜ける山道ルート、秋でも寒かったのに冬に・・！ 鞍馬の山は京都の市街地から数キロ程度しか離れてないけど、 めっちゃ寒いから行きたい人は寒さ対策しっかりとね。
