are you aware of all the women kirtan singers who are courageous. look at Parvaty Baul, Deva Premal, Wah, Snatnam Kaur, and many many more. look at Taylor swift, she is a testament in high consciousness and bravery. there are also many Gurus in India who make women Swaminis , teachers, pundits, and they hold high positions. this is not the case in the Bhakti movement woman are only now trying to find their power..and stand up for themselves. Karunamayi Ma, Mata Amritananda mayi devi, mother Meera, Sri Maa, Ananda Mayi Ma, Jeludi Amma, Radha Ma, great women saints of this decade and the last few decades. who act as great role models for women.
