The Fast Pass is a one time pass available at certain hotels, medical offices and businesses which allows you access to an expedited lane to cross back into the U.S. faster. It is also known as the Medical Lane. I had gone for a medical appointment at the Hospital Angeles de Tijuana. Under the fast lane program, health care providers, dentists or business organizations purchase the passes from the city of Tijuana in order to give them to patients or business people residing on the other side of the border. For me, I paid about 30 USD for pass.

Step 1: Pay Border Crossing services fee by clicking on the Pay Now button. Step 2: Click on the Print application button and fill out one application per applicant. Step 3: Send the form via e-mail to: [e-mail] or fax: [phone].

They never asked me to get out of the car, and I never saw anyone get out.

They only check you car if you car looks suspicious or you come from another non-border state or living a dangerous region

A passport is not required. Citizens of Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda must present a valid passport from their country to travel to the U.S. by air. When traveling by land or sea, they must provide the necessary travel documents outlined by the Department of Homeland Security.
