Crossing the border from Zambia to Botswana * Surprising*

I had a last minute unplanned trip across the border from Zambia to Botswana. Luckily I was prepared to travel as I had planned to go to Namibia two days before all of this. I have crossed a lot of land borders in Africa and I was surprised with this one. It was definitely an adventure!

Shame the circumstances in which you had to leave Zambia. But Botswana is one of my favourite places that I have visited on many occasions. Very near the board is one of the most amazing Game parks Chobe guaranteed to see an abundance of wildlife. But my favourite places is the Okavango National Park. Please don't leave Botswana without visiting it, a must. Good luck on your travel. I recommended Namibia next followed by Cape town.

Botswana is still one of the only places in the world where wild animals can be found in Urban areas... I live 10KM outside Gaborone and sometimes on my drive home or to work i see wild game like Antelopes or Wildebeest... and if you need to see some game animals there is also the Gaborone Game Reserve right in the City... not a Zoo, but a game reserve with free roaming animals. In Kasane, you can't walk more than 1KM from any point in any direction without seeing wild game.. The warthogs, mongoose, monkeys and baboons are even in front of shop entrances in the busiest spots waiting to snatch your stuff
