huhu, I saw a Hallberg Rassy cap on your head 😅🤣

You are so right 😅 and HR was on our list once, before we went aluminum and center board :-)

@@bushpoint Well I think Hallberg Rassy 57 or Boreal 55 are of equally good quality. The Boreal is slightly more suitable in bad weather.

I was not very fond of Boreal before... but since I'm watching your videos I'm beginning to appraciate it, it looks like so stable... do you have electric winches?
@bushpoint2 жыл бұрын
Yes, we have electric winches, the big central and then the two for the genua. And yes the boat is very stable and we feel safe.

Thanks for these videos- great for Boreal lovers! Can I ask how efficient your panels are on the dodger and coach roof? Do they get heavily shaded by the mast/ boom? Are you self sufficient with watt& sea/ wind and solar?

Thank you for watching! It’s too early to say since we only sailed in England and in the winter and not much sun here 😀 The sun do come out sometimes, but then it’s in a low angle. The solar panels on the doghouse and coach roof will probably be less effective because of the shading as you point out. We have 1100 W in total so we’ll see how far that will take us. When sailing it looks like the Watt & Sea will keep up with the consumption. Our earlier experience with wind generator is that there is only a few times they are worth the money. But shouldn’t a long distance cruiser have a wind generator? Trying to keep up the ”image” 😂😂
