Can't think of a better boat for the job. A good friend just purchased a Hattie on the West Coast and drove it back home to TN. 30 days and a Panama Canal ride. The boat was worth it I think.

Don't remember where I first heard the saying, but I use it regularly... "they all shrink in the water" describing boats of course. You get a big boat out on the water and it really does seem smaller.
