One of the absolute best videos by Abrar so far, because of the breathtaking scenery and the drone shots., i wish he had take video of the background stream when he was speaking in front of the hotel in start too, as that also looked so gorgeous. Beautiful track. Just like the Holy Amarnath Cave Track in Kashmir, about which my memories got refreshed. There also we had reached Pahlgam base camp a day before and at 5 am next morning, we reached Chandan-baadi entry gate. We could see glaciers there also. After our papers checked by Holy shrine officials, started tracking from there and within 4 kms climbing we gained altitude of 6800 feet and then walked through very similar green meadows, glaciers, sheep and horses grazing all over fields between snow clad mountains. We walked almost 14 kms to reach beautiful blue Sheshnaag lake which is half way and that is our camp site for night stay. Next day we again start after breakfast at Holy langar, to track and soon gain more height where there is snow all over and we had to walk with help of stick to prevent slipping in snow tracks. By afternoon we reached Panch-tarni lake at 13000 feet alt which is 6 kms from Shesh-naag lake. There we had our lunch at holy Mahadev ji's langar. Then started soon and crossed a very dangerous rift valley for 6 kms.to finally enter into a wide snow covered field and there at the far end we could see The holy cave at some height. Hundreds of tents were planted in field for night stay of pilgrims from all over the country and abroad as well. We stayed in a tent which was very cozy and also ate dinner at holy langar (all langars during whole tracking path of 26 Kms. serve only veg. food which is free of cost). Next morning at dawn we got up and after taking bath (yes, we bought hot water from water point and took bath because we had to go to Holy cave temple) we joined line up to cave. We had to climb approx. 230 steps to finally reach the Holy cave. The altitude at top was 14300 feet. written on a board. As we entered inside, we saw a wonderful natural snow made 14 feet high Shivlinga and 3 small similar formations. As soon as we entered, the morning's first pooja- Aarti started so it was so divine experience for us to be there.... After pooja we got prasad from pujari ji and came out of cave. There were some benches in the open balcony and we set there for some 15 min. and took in all the view of whole valley. There was snow all over mountains and colorful tents were looking so beautiful in morning sunlight. Thanking our God Shiv ji, we stood up then with all peace in our mind, we stepped down.... I think, in all similar places, we all think and act same way, regardless of country, religion, cast etc..... peace.
