Hi, Barbie! What a fabulous collage! Love the big butterfly, the black and white, the music icons - well, I guess I love it all! My musicians would be a bit older than yours, but the idea would be the same. (Elvis, Joni James, etc.) The cargo van story was funny - can you imagine kids nowadays going to a concert sitting in lawn chairs??? Thanks for the giggles. xoxo

Barbie what a great collage! You captured the era beautifully. Sewing was a big part of my growing up years too. My mom made most of my clothes from birth through high school. I love first day covers. I have a bunch of Royal Mail first days from the 1990’s and US first days from various years. I also have a first day cover album “International First Day Covers Honoring Americas Bicentennial” 87 different countries first day from 1976. I noticed that your first day was mailed to someone in Georgia in a town about an hour and a half north of where I live. Cool huh? TFSGF you are a joy to watch!🥰

I have used the 1st days in journal put not from the international album. I can’t make myself break that up. Yes, I have loads of stamps. Only because I bought them in bulk. I love stamps too but, like you, I don’t collect I accumulate. 😂 have a great weekend 🥰

Shay, I like a few Janice songs ... Jimmy ... non of his; but he's such an icon I had to add him. Bob Dylan ... yes and anything from the Beatles. I do like the Doors. I grew up with 2 older brothers. When I was 7, my one brother was 16 and my older brother was 18. I was introduced to the Vanilla Fudge, Led Zepplin, Momma and Papa's, Moody Blues, Beetles and others at a very early age. My mom would listen to Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Eddie Arnold, Hank Williams and others. My dad chose Peggy Lee, the Jackie Gleason Band, Herb Albert, and Henry Mancini ...... this is why I love all music. The TV never came on until 6 pm when the nightly news aired ... music was either coming from out living room, the upstairs bedrooms or the cellar ...... and it was all loudly played. I even like some rap, but I have to understand it and it can't be vulgar. YES, most definitely, variety is the spice of life. Thanks for your comment and go listen to some nice music !! xoxo 🎶🎵🎶💙

Man, this sure opened the memories flood gate! I think it is so cool how you incorporated the music artists and the clothing of that bygone era. About Line of Duty, I think it is one of the best British shows I've watched to date. My BFF lives in England and she suggested it to me, I couldn't get enough of it. I was disappointed with that final episode though. She (BFF) said the fans on that side of pond was so disappointed and made such a ruckus about it that it actually prompted the creators to re-think it. I'd say that show is my second favorite, The Americans being my most favorite, If you haven't watched that, you should. A really awesome series. Take care! xx

Thanks, Lin so much for your comment and sharing. YES ......... we watch a ton of British TV on Acron ...... in my opinion, US TV is awful and insults our intelligence; we never watch it. I agree with Line of Duty ...... it's exceptional. We did watch The Americans back when my boys were in high school. We all loved it. 🥰 I was really upset when they killed Nina ........... we got hooked on The Killing as well .... OMGosh what a roller coaster that was and I just love Joel Kinnaman 🥰 a really great actor and really nice eye candy. His roll in this series is phenomenal and I love the ending ......... BRILLIANT.
