Is it me or does the story have too many inconsistencies about time and age. First, Su Jin is originally 500 years or so old when Ye Hua was born, but the later they say its a 20,000 age gap. Then, Ye Hau and Feng Jui are born around the same time, but look completely different age wise. Next, the snakes son and A-Li are meant to both be 300 years old, but one is a teen and the other a child. Like, the snake and Su Su were pregnant together. I love this show, but I get so irked by some of these issues.

They changed some time line for drama purpose. But then they forgot that they had changed it when they wrote script for later episodes. Sujin was 20,000 years older to Ye Hua in the novel. Same mistake is with Bai Qian. Bai Qian being 70,000 year older but then some dialogues say 90,000. Snake's son is older to A li. When she eloped with second uncle of Ye hua, Ye Hua was not born. He was the Golden Lotus at the the time. He was born after Mo Yuan died. In fact as the golden lotus he was gathering Mo Yuan's soul back together for 20,000 years. When first daughter in law of Sky clan whisked it away, the process was interpreted half way. Or Mo Yuan would have woken up much earlier. So snake lady's son might be nearer to Ye Hua's age than his son.
