At long last, I RETURN! I've had a lot of unfinished projects that have been lying around for months, some even a year or two, but I want that to change. Many of which I have intended to share with you all, so I'll make sure to get on those so you can hear them.
Here, we have a cover of Megumu Iizunamaru's theme, Starry Mountain of Tenma, from Touhou 18: Unconnected Marketeers. For the past few months I've been hooked on Touhou jungle/drum and bass, and while I MIGHT have slightly deviated from that style with this one, they inspired me to compose something such as this. I figured the chief of the crow tengu would do well with something very exciting, energetic, and motivational.
I've started this back in April, and it sounded very different to how this final version came out to be. For a good few months, I did not know how to create certain sections, or figuring out the right sound for percussion, leads, etc, but recently, I've been learning some new techniques and methods in developing music. After finally getting some much needed personal business out of the way, I felt very motivated to complete this mix, and it's done!
Art was done by ‪@justindiecisive4214‬ through a commission. He did a fantastic job with this, please check him out!

Wow, now this is a top tier remix! The sound quality of the instruments and synths used here is so clean. It honestly sounds like it could be part of an official game soundtrack.

It's so dramatic and heroic! I could just see this music coming in with Megumu to save the day (or steal the show) during a boss fight.

It took me a while to think of it, but the notes that go downwards at 1:07 remind me of Winter Bliss from Castle Crashers (favorite song in the game) Lovely work, I love Megumu's theme and I enjoy when people explore interesting ideas with it!
