Crowborough Model Boat Club holds a light hearted annual competition, on the boating lake, at the Goldsmith's Leisure Centre. This year the challenge is to build a Pond Yacht. (Check the website for details.)
This is my entry.
I was pleased to discover that my design floats... the right way up... and goes in a reasonably straight line!
The hull is planked in balsa but the deck is veneered in planks of mahogany and walnut - for a glossy look. Copious coats of varvish fills the many holes!
