Holy hell... there was 40k people there. That space was not big once it came to the main shows... in fact... with the GA people crashing the gates... we couldnt even get in to the space we paid extra for. So this has more than one side to it....

Me and my buddy had Gold Circle (we were actually right in front of the camera toward the back half of the video) and man that was just silly they should've just not had it. The shit was actually more fun with everyone jumping the fences haha as long as nobody got hurt and everyone was having fun why worry right? Can't wait for BRRF 2022!

The barriers should've only been there to just alow security to roll through if need be. Other than that, let the crowd enjoy itself. Spiritbox opened the flood gates. I love it!!

I have honestly never heard of a "golden circle" style of ticketing/sectioning off a crowd like that, ESPECIALLY for rock/metal. Its a huge disservice for heavier bands who are looking for energy and the space in front of the stage is half empty.

One of the days when 10 Years was playing same thing happened. It was hilarious watching the one or two security members fish out the people who jumped the barrier, especially when they kicked out Spider-Man 😂😂😂

This was the stage Suicidal played and a bunch of people did the same. One dude jumps the rail right in front of us, his leg gets caught and he falls flat on his face. Security picked him up and threw him back over. I was like "damn busted his ass, embarrassed himself and still got tossed" lol

Kicking myself for not jumping it. I did for a few others. The bigger issue with that stage was the mic problems. This is 1 of my favorite songs and could barely hear it. We were down far left right behind the barrier.

Social media blew the issues ways out of proportion. Over 90% of the people had the time of their lives. As someone who paid for Golden Circle, it was total BS and enforcement was abandoned most of the festival thankfully.

Security let everyone in when the show started. Vip and golden circle got first spots then everyone filled in. It gave a safe zone for outside the pit people. That was the idea. But it was setup for shit. The entire blue ridge festival was poop minus the music itself
