Came back after season 3 was completed to give a full opinion. Sakura: Extremely fun. Her rushdown game is lit asf. When I stun someone in the corner I make some distance for a full charge hadouken, do a forward jump hp and a dash under for a reset. That was hella fun. I managed to go from gold to ultra gold with her. Blanka: Imo screw blanka. I never liked him in 4 so why should I in 5? D:

It's so great seeing SFV getting a fair treatment from Capcom. I am a filthy casual when it comes to fighting games but I bought SFV day 1 and I fully regret it. I haven't touched the game in a long time but AE might be a great excuse to jump back in. With this, Megaman 11, RE7 and the rumored DMCV I hope Capcom continues like this and deliver great titles for the fans. We all know they can make great games when they actually try!

thejunkmanlives Sakura from the trailer at least looks really solid, very familiar from the old days. Ono is a huge Blanka fan so that leads me to believe that he wouldn’t just completely ruin the character. And everybody has been begging for Sagat since the SFV beta, Capcom knows if they screw him up there’ll be hell to pay. Cody is the only returning character I’m skeptical about. I’ve heard that he’s the mayor of metro city now so I wonder what effect, if any, that will have on his play style. All in all though I think Capcom might actually deliver on a genuinely good season of street fighter, we have arcade mode, fan favorites coming back, a new fresh interface, and new v-triggers for everybody. Things are looking good.

I seriously doubt Evil Ryu will come since they make a point out of it in the Shadow Falls story mode that Ryu overcomes the Satsui no Hado and he beats both Necalli and Bison using the power of nothingness, (i.e. that blue light/flame when he punches Necalli and burns Bison with a Hadouken) Street Fighter 5 leads into Street Fighter 3 and by then he exclusively uses the Power of Nothingness and is never tempted by the Satsui no Hado. Sorry to be a buzzkill, Evil Ryu was a lot of fun in SSF4AE and USF4 but I doubt he's coming back.
