Wow! All of those different tools, and bartered items of the beaver tradesmen signifies as a link to the real and a kind of untold American history between white men and the Native Americans. In a way, it is a history that reveals a special bond of unity between them. I love how the mountain man toward the end begins plucking the banjo the same way the song from Deliverance begins. Thanks altogether for sharing. I loved it!👍😃

Great to see Doc Mongo, again! I used to see him ad talk with him frequently, a various Rendezvous! My Mtn. Man name is Manyskunks! Also known as Calls The Wind because, every time I'd play my Native American flute at Rendezvous the wind would come up! Some times it was a nice cooling breeze and sometimes the song had a GREAT amount of energy and we'd get a huge wind! I didn't know the strength of my own songs!! LOL!!

Kim Curtis I have 2 rendezvous names, one is from when I was 2 years old, my camp version of a stuffed animal was a skunk hide hence “stinky”. My more recent one is “cupcake” because I made a few dozen cupcakes and left a few under people’s flies one year at camp. But since I’m still very young the general consensus of people tend to just call me sweetheart.

I am currently teaching myself a lot, my future will be that of my ancestors, possibly, I will most likely travel much and live on what the great spirit provides for me to take. And never forget to ask forgiveness from the animal of who’s life you take.

Black powder and Rendezvous is really BIG in WA ID MT from April to October. I lucked out meeting *HARRY HARPOON in 1991 just outside Red Lodge Montana. He's a wild character!*

These are not like any Mountain Men I was with, WE WERE 100% Period to time, in the Teepee where is the short Liner there is none, why are they wearing STRAW Hats ? Do ya ever watch the Mountain Men with Brian Keith & Charleston Heston. Now that is a Rendezvous, You gonna Do, you do it RIGHT ! Should only have Certain times that Pilgrims are allowed, You should walk into camp and really feel you have walked back in time, there is to much wrong with this camp !
