Ah yes! My partner and I were there that night in 1997 (?) Just us two and a quarter of a million others. I was just amazed at the international audience there. Everywhere you turned you'd hear French, German, Polish and many other languages just as much as English. A wonderful group and great song writers, musicians and lovely as people too.

Insanely lovable version of one of the best songs ever written by some of the best musicians to e-ver grace this poor lonesome planet. Had I been so privileged to be there, I'd have wished to be among the jumpers at front, hollering along at the top of my voice. It would have been a sight of sorts, since I'm 51 and overweight.

First, mate, THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS IN THE WORLD! Second, anything I say is as important as anything you or anyone else says because that is THE AMERICAN WAY that all our allies adopted. It is sad that so many people the USA saved from utter destruction by fascists now find it FASHIONABLE to bash us.

This is incorrect. The Finns stem from Aotearoa, yes. Split Enz was a kiwi band. But Crowded House is an Australian band featuring two kiwi brothers.

If you’re beginning to notice your senses slowly becoming inundated with the effects of the modern world such as our oceans being polluted with oil and radioactive iodine, cheap plastic consumer techno trash and our one dimensional corrupt government, do yourself a favor, go to Netflix and get this DVD. It won’t change the world but it will make you forget about it for at least two hours. It contains 100% pure joy.

@dunskie14 жыл бұрын
Great tune. Am I not wrong in thinking that on the record of this, Neil sings his own harmonies? I think the harmonies are a little shaky here. Still great.
@chielienl7 жыл бұрын
No. On Woodface, the brothers sing. This is when their music skyrockets to heaven, because their harmonies are almost unsurpassed - almost, because there's only one vocal duo that did, and sadly, it no longer exists.

What?! Australians and New Zealanders who are descended from European (or any other continent for that matter) migrants are still called Australians and New Zealanders. You're talking about indigenous Australians and New Zealanders. The Finn brothers are New Zealanders, although probably of Irish descent.
