I just started playing COD this past June, and watching the CDL's for the past 5 years and Atlanta Faze has been my team since the beginning to learn the game play before I play. And yes I'm an actual grandmother and I love gaming and I'm currently at prestige 4 fast approaching 5. Applied the 1st ten minutes of your tips, and I have improved vastly. I was hovering around 10-15 eliminations, sometimes even less, to now averaging 14-20, there have even been a handful of 20+ matches with a couple of 10 count elimination streaks. I'm usually a RT and LT to aim and shoot guy, with a broken RB, but switching to RB and LB to shoot really helped me a lot, thanks former pro cod player!

Unfortunately the server de-sync is so bad that no matter how much you improve your aiming you will still encounter ridiculous ttd compared to ttk and instances where you empty half a mag into someone's back just to have them turn and look at you and down you in 2 or 3 bullets.

I can address the "looking down" part around the 7:30 mark. I've played CoD since the beginning and in the past I would run with aim set just below the belt line and let the recoil carry the rounds up through the torso. The problem with this game is that while I'm still hitting my target, I can put 10 or more rounds in someone and it doesn't kill them because obviously the only lethal shots are chest up. Adjusting away from nearly 20 years of play style isn't easy. Another problem I seem to have very frequently is I will be trying to shoot someone and it's almost as if there is some resistance to the reticle zeroing in on the target. Like its pointing a tiny fraction to the upper right (its always the upper right) and I cant get the aim to move down and left to hit. This happens all. the. time.

On Xbox a different scale factor is used, the default is 1.20 and not 5. Assuming the underlying code formula is the same you should increase H and V to 1.68, correct?

I was fairly certain that ads sense is if you go .8 then it’s 80% of your actual horizontal and vertical speed. So it’s slower than your actual movement speed

nobody plays keyboard and mouse in CoD. But I have a tip for you, and it's the only one really. Make sure your in-game sensitivity is the same as the windows one, so that you dont get input lag. And other than that, it's just Git Gud Bro. Not much to teach really. Either you aim well with a mouse, or you dont. It's much easier to get good with a controller in CoD than there is with MnK. A good MnK player is Shroud if you wanna check him out. Not really a CoD player though but overall a good FPS player.
