He added that Hezbollah was not deterred by US warnings to stay out of the conflict. Nasrallah's speech had been widely anticipated throughout the region as a sign of whether the Israel-Hamas conflict would spiral into a regional war, after weeks of limited exchanges between the Lebanese militant group and Israeli forces on the Lebanon-Israel border.

Self defence is the biggest joke right. As an oppressor by default you are in an attacking stance and therefore cannot claim self defence. Nobody is saying that Hamas didn't attack on 7/10 what has been claimed and confirmed by UN sources is that the Israeli military fired on their own people. Whether they were following orders or whether it was due to the 'Fog of war' Or just poor training is not clear, and no doubt we're never likely to find out, but that appears to be the situation.
