Miss South Africa 2024, will be the 66th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant.
Natasha Joubert will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will go on to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2023 and/or Miss Supranational 2024.
The top 16 fnalists participate in a reality show called "Crown Chasers", where they compete in challenges reflecting the Miss South Africa values. Each week, one contestant is eliminated, wherein in the end, only 12 contestants will be participating in the final show.

Week after week, I see more of these amazing women, and my favorites are shuffling. Something I have noticed is that Lethaukethula is excellent at branding and name dropping the sponsors. Elegant on the runway and an exceptional speaker. Currently, my pick for Miss South Africa 2024. 1st RU: Nompumelelo 2nd RU: Palesa

This is year the girls are very smart I won't lie . But I top 5 are Kebalepile , Nompumelelo , Palesa , Onalenna , Chidima . Lebo, Ontsi and Lethu are also great competitors , great speakers .

The Ted talks were great(Palesa and Onalenna were watching their cards too much as well).I agree about Nolene but she's a fighter and she's working on her flaws,I respect that.Mia,Nompumelelo,Lethu and Kebalepile are my top favs.Who else thinks that Chidimma is insanely beautiful?

Hey Rina. I have seen a lot of rage on X (Twitter) about Chidima as a child of Nigerian and Mozambique father and mother. It would be great to get your view on this subject as a South African staying in Namibia. I’m conflicted

My view is that I don't care about people's ancestry as long as they have provided the required identification documents proving South African citizenship as stipulated in the Miss South Africa rules and regulations.

Competition is not tough this year. Hope to see progress in the next weeks. In 2021 I felt the same way but the Miss SA Org always finds a way, even if the public disagrees but their judgment always works out. Lalela won and she ended up performing great on international stages, with so much elegance. So I trust the Org to have an eye for the IT girl.

I agree with the judgsment over Naledi. Even when she was walking she seemed unsure of herself. Then Taahira, wow she has potential but needs to work on her communication. Nomphumelelo is a strong competitor but her and Taahira are 29 so age might be an obstacle for them, considering the winner has to compete internationally.

Kristen lacks personality unfortunately she’s so closed off which is sad can she could’ve stood tall she’s such a pretty tall woman I don’t want to say she’s boring cause I don’t know this w personally but she just lacks energy and seeing that the girl who will win doesn’t have much time to prepare before the international competition idk if Kristen is the best choice But the competition is not over yet.

Kirsten is beautiful and reminds me of Tamaryn Green, but she's too timid. Taahira is gorgeous and has the most interesting face plus she's a good walk with a good personality. I think they'll crown Nompumelelo because she has competed internationally before.
