The Trompettes and other reeds on this organ are phenomenal. I love the descant from the choir on the last verse. Wonderful.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL esepcially with the descant and what's even better - the magnificant sound of your Pipe Organ - and the great Organist playing it. Thank you so much.

I used this tune to sing to one of the kids on my bus on their Birthday last year. ''The Birthday Girl is here, We Rejoice on this Day'' I forget how the rest went.

The only thing I'd change is where I was when this was performed to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Best organ in NYS if not the country. Best organist playing here also. Open it up!

Tempo is absolutely perfect. Would love to hear a professional recording of this hymn, this organ, this congregation. The reeds (4' clarion?) in the descant sounded like they would have been stunning. Thanks for posting.

Where does the choir get the music for the descant?
@JMcdon16272 жыл бұрын
I would think that the organist composes the descant. I grew up in a huge church, and that is how it was done there.

1 Crown Him with many crowns,The Lamb upon His throne,Hark! How the Heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own.Awake my soul and sing,Of Him who died for thee,And Hail Him as thy matchless Kingthrough all eternity.2 Crown Him the Virgin's Son,The God incarnate born,Whose arm those crimson trophies won fruit of the mystic rose.As of the Rose the Stem,The Root, whence mercy ever flows,The Babe of Bethlehem.3 Crown Him the Lord of Love,Behold His hands and side,Rich wounds, yet visible above,In beauty glorified.No angel in the sky,Can fully bear that sight,But downward bends His wondering eye,At mysteries so bright!4 Crown Him the Lord of peace,Whose power a sceptre sways,From pole to pole, that wars may cease.And all be prayer and praise:His reign shall know no end,And round His pierced feet,fair flowers of paradise extendtheir fragrance ever sweet5 Crown Him the Lord of years,The Potentate of time,Creator of the rolling spheres,Ineffably sublime.All Hail, Redeemer Hail!For Thou hast died for me,Thy praise and glory shall not failThroughout eternity.*The lyrics are not quite the same*GOD BLESS
