Thanks for such a detailed report. As a trail runner, this is invaluable to determine if it is runnable or not

I don't think it's runnable my friend...on some parts maybe...like at the start of the trail and maybe some in the middle sections....but i would say scramble for the most part of it.😀

Love it how you capture the entire hike up to the Crown Mountain. Definitely one of the bucket list that every hiker should do. 😁🙌

Thank you for taking time to watch. My videos are boring to many as i show more detailed overview of the trail....😀My purpose is to have a more informative video that can be used by hikers as a reference when going to hike a certain trail. Thank you for watching.❤🙏😀

The mystery of the crown, one Grouse Grind regular once told me, if you want to see the best of The Crown, do not plan, take your chance. When at the chalet and the sky in the North Shore is clear, then go for the Crown. Indeed, out of three attempts, I saw the best of the Crown only once, and it was a spontaneous hike. One of the difficult trail to hike in the North Shore, Troopers who joined the hike, you did a very good job, keep trying and one day you will see the breathtaking view from the saddle of the Crown. It will erase away all the muscle soreness. It is all worth it! Post Script: The drone footage gave me goosebumps!

2:52 You can't say that enough times. North Shore Rescue averages ~90 calls per year & 2020 broke all records at 151 call outs for rescue; 2021 is at 165 calls as of September 14th. There are legitimate accidents, but many calls are due to unprepared backcountry users. I'll add that we should urge all back country travellers to donate to NSR or any local SAR team.
