Powerful on paper, in play Yumichika's fight with Charlotte was more enjoyable. I want that so badly to be hyperbole but it's not. That's how much of a let down Stark is.

@@jugram4983 This may be a struggle for you (I suspect impossible really) but a person can understand something just fine and still find it a complete waste of their time. What an interesting premise he posed. What a bland expression he ended up. Also he's arguably the flashiest espada, just in a way that doesn't encourage much animation budget.

This is my second favorite Arrancar fight, it just shows how a much more powerful enemy can be defeated by the right combination of smartness and improvisation. Also the irony of Barragan's realease being Arrogance and being defeated by his own power was just a perfect little touch

From what I can tell the connection to GOT Stark is completely unintentional as hard as that's to believe. Kubo named his top Espada after various famous designers ( for example Ulquiorra is named after Patricia Urquiola, a Spanish architect) . Stark is named after Philippe Starck, a french architect. It just so happens by accident that Kubo designed a lone wolf gunslinger, thus giving him wolf powers and then named him Starrk. A complete coincidence turning into an unintended reference.

13:15 not sure if you guys already knew this and was just trolling/joking but “boku wa” is used by males. It’s just a more polite/sophisticated way of saying “I am”. Ore wa is a less polite way but is also used my male. Seeing how aizen carries himself as more of a sophisticated/intelligent person, it would be fitting for him to say boku wa. “Watashi” is used for females or when you’re addressing someone with a higher social standing than yourself

Lilinette is the worst teammate to have period. Stark could have just exited the fight early on but she just had to force him to keep fighting.

No way Aizen would let him just leave. If he didn't stay and fight, there would be nowhere to hide from Aizen, and Lilinette knows that. She's well aware of what the two of them have signed up for.

That's kinda the point, I think their personalities are also split. Lilinette is the part that got all the passion and will to fight while Stark himself is all gloomy and serious. And it's not like they had much of a choice, as soon as Aizen got them they either die fighting or are killed by Aizen. As soon as they stop being useful to Aizen he has no problem in killing them
