That Crown of Tempest roll was a right touch when it was available. Your build granted me a 10, 100, 80,100, 20, 40 stat distribution in D2ArmorPicker... I hate reloading my heavy so always tend to run a loader if it isn't auto loading... great content as always

I have been running this build in things like Onslaught and Vanguard Ops playlist for fun but havent had the confidence to try it in high level end game content, this video is gonna change that. Im not sure if you know but there's an interesting interaction with Song of Flame and the Crown of Tempests on prismatic. As long as you have the stacks up with jolt weapons it does work and makes SOF 3x longer. I'm not quite sure what to do with this info now that Stormtrance is like 3x faster to recharge, but I had great results just being able to have a long period of practically invisibility and radiant on solo. Just don't use any SOF abilities for the longest duration possible.

Old time player here, done all the end game things, solo dungeons, raid challenges etc but never a solo GM. Feel like my build knowledge has immensely increased since finding your channel and used this as a basis for a build to do my first solo GM. Very easy GM I know but a nice thing to say I have done. I swapped Thunderlord into this which is super strong on the Overloads.

@@itztizzle Despite all the flaws and even if I am no longer a daily grinder, I think the build aspect of the game is very strong now. So many things to try that you would forget about but seem to have viable applications. I don't think I used Crown for years and years until this season with the super changes.

I was rocking a version of this build since TFS dropped, people really slept on just how much ability regen you get from Crown. But the artifact perks giving us weakening GL for that Lost Signal that you basically need to run to build Dark transcendence AND Jolting Feedback being added really takes it to the next level. Not to mention all the other artifact perks like the one that buffs Arc damage. It's crazy fun right now. I personally am running Parasite with Solar Holster for my heavy, but Acrius with anti-barrier is a great shout, I didn't even think of that

I ran a solo GM earlier with a Fallen Sunstar Ex Deris build in combination with the new tonic for health regen on ionic pickup. The GM was far easier than any other season.

Yeah I definitely think they're heading in the right direction with roaming supers, but roaming supers need to do way more than 30 to 50% extra damage to champions, you can see that in the first overload champion, you can't stun him and then he immediately heals. Either roaming supers need to be able to delete champions once stunned, or be able to intrinsically stun all champions while you're in your super

Stunning all is a stretch, but bring DPS for champs then use super to add clear or utility for teammate's revive, etc.

If roaming supers did have one of innate stunning/piercing/disrupting capabilities, that'd be nice. Like, if Solar roamers could pierce barriers, Void could stun unstops, and arc could disrupt overloads. It would definitely give a bit of parity for one-offs, since most common occurence for roamers is that you pop to kill the barrier, it doesn't die, and now you sit and stare at the stupid bubble with your dawnblade up as all of the damage your super dealt _goes away._

I got my first solo GM clear with a modified version of this build. Specced more for protection / healing, and used Anarchy instead of Grand Overture bc the charge time for Grand Overtime is painful for me.

Copied your build for a team run. Teammates could not believe how many supers I was getting. So much fun. It’s still weak against single high health targets, but that’s what your guns and abilities are for, right? Much easier to deal with big guys when the trash mobs are dead. Oh, look at that. Brawn makes this, specific GM, super easy. It's like doing a heroic nightfall. But put this same modifier on a GM that has a boss room where ads don't continuously spawn and it's just you and the boss? Could make it significantly tougher. Edit: I don't know if your health in the rift was coming back more slowly or if it's just because oyu have like 3x normal health and it was regening at its normal rate but appeared slower because the health bar is bigger

Regarding the scorn shooting your nade in the air. I was doing last week's GM in a group on Hunter and every time I threw my Gunpowder Gamble it just exploded as it left my hand. I then noticed I had an arc soul because the Warlock was running it. Anyone else get that happening? I ended up steering clear of the Warlocks rift.

lol I play all 3 classes regularly and I must say as an actual titan main I can understand this. They’ve given almost no point in running anything but a syntho consecration build for end game stuff. It’s just too good against adds, yellow bars, champions, etc. Honestly the only time I use other stuff is just on dungeons or solo content I’ll switch it up to insurmountable skullfort with thunderclap for survivability or something like precious scars or mask of the quiet one for devour. But I agree, I’ll take song of flame over this any day. Feels like you’re truly tickling everything that isn’t a minor red bar enemy. I think it’ll be really nice for things like dungeons and stuff where you aren’t so under light though.

During the Light Fall?, Arc artifact, I've been using the Crown of tempest with the Chaos super, instead of Geomags or the other helmet for ionic traces, with Cold heart. I think Arc is even in a better spot right now, especially with solar being so weak. The arc slide is just as good as the consecration tho, so I might stick to the prismatic/syntoceps plus necrotic and build the whatever supers with it, based on the activity.
