I'm throwing these on confederated foot Malus. All homie needed was the mortis and I always disband the rest of his army after he gets SoK so the upkeep won't hurt him. Most factions already hate you cause ur DE and Malekith is lowkey better when he's sitting in your provinces giving free buildings. The Witch King is gonna vibe in Lothern while Malus solos the world with his two healthbars. Nasty stuff.

The changeling can very realistically get both of these items. He gets the SoK by just creating a cult in the shrine of Kane, which can be done by spawning or sending a hero over there. As for the crown, well he starts in the empire as is. Then all you need to do is ally your self with Belakor early game for his form. Now you have a stronger version of Belakor and two overpowered scaling items. That has to be the strongest single unit in the game. Easily capable of soloing 4 stacks.

As soon as this update comes out I'm playing Dreadfu and beelining for the Sword of Khaine and the Nemesis Crown. Female Dreadlord already sounds unhinged, so its fits her perfectly. I plan on having whatever Dark Elf LL I start as staying home to defend my starting province while Dreadfu does all the fighting. Its gon b gud

This makes me curious as to which of the items is stronger if two good melee lords were to go head to head in a 1v1. Or is it the case that the Nemesis Crown is better for fighting armies, and the Sword of Khaine for fighting single entities?

I got both items on Taurox... no negatives, practically. Taurox had a huge percentage of ward save, so he wouldn't take damage, but he'd demolish everyone. Horror. True fucking horror.

If you’re in the position where you can support both of these items the campaign is already over and you might as well start a new one on a higher difficulty. Just being able to support one of these items is difficult when you’re already the strongest faction. To be able to support 2 of them you’d have to of dominated almost 50% of the map. With that being said if you do end up trying to support both just frontline your Lord and invest in 5-7 range units. It’s all you will need for the entire campaign. You can just AFK on the frontline with your lord spamming the crown/sword and use the rangers to clean everything else up. Would also atleast make your fights somewhat interesting instead of steamrolling the entire map.

If only they made it so that the game was even a little challenging on hardest possible settings this might actually be fun to pull off. As it is the game presents no chance of losing and barely puts up a fight while you paint the map. Just yawn.

I find if you strip everything in form of skill line buffs, tech buffs, and items for yourself and let the AI have it you have a much better playthrough. unit caps too but late game it becomes to much as the 20 stacks just become single entiy spam against your balanced army. But sure would be cool if it was a harder baseline experiance. I dont wanna take away anyones toys but i find it hard to understand how anyone struggles even on hardest settings not to just roll over everything after turn 40-60.

@@TheGreatDanish probably but are you using terrain? Flanks? Match ups? The Ai is dumb dumb and I don't play with them getting the full debuff and buff effects. I think I like one bump from base. Full debuff and buff for ai makes it so you pretty much have to cheese and use range.

The game is too easy indeed, even if you play on very hard with all the AI cheats. However, the real fun is about the "rpg" side of things, how the campaign can become a little storyline (like Malekith unifying the elves by force in classic dark fantasy fashion). If you want a real challenge, then play Boris on the world map, limited to the Chaos Wastes with Archaon neighboring, it's almost impossible to win
