Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Pool Access Suite

The jewel of airport hotels is located right next to the infamous Jewel Airport Shopping Mall of Singapore. This hotel offers comfort, luxury and convenience for transit passengers, and one could easily spend a few nights here, as Changi airport is one of the world's best, the city is not too far and the adjacent Jewel offers both convenient shopping and dining delights. With Singapore being a small city, cab rides can bring you anywhere on the island easily and for a decent price as well, so don't let it being an airport hotel stop you from considering it as a potential tourist hotel. This particular suite is large and comfortable with stunning views once you enter the main pool area. The two downsides, is the small kitchenette feels bare and overlooked, and the bathroom is in my opinion substandard. The design of the bathroom and its tiles feel old and tacky, and with the Lukewarm temperature of the water coming from the shower, I would say the design are as aged as the pipes. While yes the access the fantastic pool and the property itself with beautiful exterior and interior designs (and fabulous as well as delicious dining options, plus the barman knows how to make a mean gin and tonic), not having hot water at the ready for a suite at this price point is a major disappointment. Great hotel, I just wish some aspects of the room were not overlooked.
