It was my privilege to meet Raju sir in person. He is such a simple man with higher credentials and hard working nature.His daily routine inspires us .I had met sir earlier in February of 2018 , to my wonder, he recognized me when I met him this Sunday for interface , and I was like on the top of the world . Sir, you have confirmed that police has no right to abuse or hurt. But, one instant way back in 2010 still haunts me. I am an officer from a defence psu in Hyderabad. One day, in view of the urgency and traffic jam, i have violated traffic rule by following a police jeep which was going in wrong side. I was held by some home guards and constables for coming in wrong side. I apologised and requested to leave me as i was late for a meeting. But they refused. Consequently, i asked them to penalise the police jeep too alongwith me. In response, one SI treated me as a road side criminal and started asking me my name in filthy language. So I asked him to see my ID for my name. Then he abused me by saying bastard. When I asked him to mind his language, around 10 cops held me by my collar and dragged me from my bike. Then i went to complain about the issue to the CI of that Police station. There, i was asked to sit beside the criminals on my knees. I was made to stand holding my hands but the CI was chit chatting with a local gunda type guy. When i said that the traffic SI called me q bastard, he made a jokee of it by saying that their cops can scold you ma ke loude or madarchod but not bastard. In another incident in Nampally, i said to a cop that its not right thing to stop the bikers and collect money. But he beat me with lathi. I had no option other than getting into a bus. Sir, such incidents are still happening. I request the higher officials to advise their subordinates for a public friendly policing. If the cops feel im lying, they can check such incidients in mufti.

Bala Murali Its really sad that you have faced such sort of situation , i hope it dint made you feel lost and devastated . Its sad that such cops exist who are corrupt and not friendly to people . If such incident was captured i am sure it would go viral and that cop would be suspended . I live in hyderabad itself and i have also witnessed many honest cops and dishonest but never thought they would go to such an extent .
