Hard to tell just looking at the video, but that idler bracket moves a fair amount when you use the lift to raise the front. I wonder if you could do an old forklift trick of hauling long stuff and raise the front and rear of track without requiring a jack? Essentially: Make a bracket/jackstand that would fit on/in the idler bracket (likely involves drilling or welding). Would have to connect on the inboard side so as not to interfere with track going on or off. Would have to be far enough back so its rear of the center of gravity, but no too far so you have a good amount of leverage height. The jackstand would be connected to the idler bracket and be a triangle shape to the ground, as well as being higher than the reach to the ground (enough to hold the track a reasonable height above the ground. Use: 1. Raise front as high as possible. 2. Install the jackstand 3. Lower the lift and the track rear should come off the ground, kind of like a teeter totter 4. Set the lift height so the track is somewhat level above the ground, front to back. 5. Do the task 6. Raise front of rig till jackstand is loose and remove

@snakerstran9101 I bet that would work. I am try to think if l like an 8x8 block would work. I'll do some checking tomorrow. Good idea!

@@TheJBros520 Yeah, it all depends on the chassis design. If the belly has a flat bottom and is sturdy enough, raising the front and simply shoving a block under and towards the back could do the trick. Just have to be careful the block doesn't slip out with the angle. Maybe tie pull ropes to the block so it could be pulled in and out from either end so you're not reaching under the thing.

I mostly use my Galaxy S23 Ultra, the camera on it is crazy. So much more it can do that i don't even try. But my side camera I just got which is a 5k Ultra HD Our life Brand. I'll let you know how that goes I'm going to start carrying on my CRT23

Two of my LEAST favorite things ... working on my knees in snow and remounting tracks w/o the proper tools ... FORTUNATELY I now live in Texas and I have steel tracks so those memories are no longer issues!

You put the track on backwards that's why it riding bumpy 😅😅😅😅
@TheJBros5208 күн бұрын
I've had it on both ways, the track lacks rigidity. Poor thickness and width on treads and rubber. Multiple hours of testing, it doesn't matter with that track. At least for me.

Unless your talking about the newer track that slipped off. I had one track forward and one backward and it helped with the alignment of my machine to run more true.

I just placed an order for these same tracks from Track Loader Parts ... bad move or do you think this was just user error?
@TheJBros5208 күн бұрын
@chipandputt Total error on my fault... also if you saw one of my early videos. I ran these tracks before I caught grinding the idlers and put massive wear on them. I'd buy again. I'm only buying a more expensive track and style for video purposes. Or I'd just rebuy these again.
