Glasgow bomb squad. 2 Lions props, Johnny “is that another try” Matthews. Then Matt Fagerson a starter for Scotland and Horne and Jordan who’ll both be in a Scotland 23 😂😂 if we’re close at 60 we can take it

Toulouse's team roster is insane. Multiple injuries to top class players and arguably better players replace them. Madness

A quick reminder that George Hendy have had an amazing impact from the bench in several games.

You are spot on Re Ethan Hooker, and his future midfield partner could well be Jurenzo Julius

Ewan Richards and Kepu Tuipulotu for Bath are extremely exciting selections. If Richards is able to string together a good sequence of premiership and champions cup starts he could put himself in contention for an England call up. A really underrated player. Tuipulotu is an Opoku-Fordjour or Henry Pollock level talent. I'd put money on him being England's starting hooker in 2027.
@EggchasersRugby15 сағат бұрын
Tuipolotu is 100% England future star. Class act. Hard agree here.

Don’t underestimate this sharks team. If they gel there is still a significant amount of internationals and some SA u20 players

6:51; Peceli Yato in the 2nd Row for Clermont, since when?! How was Joe Marchant been during his time in France?!

Watch out for a new Irish superstar for Munster “Brian Gleeson” only just 20 but a seriously great prospect.

Does anyone else rate Augustus from N'hampton? He delivers every time I see him play. I can't see Gallagher prem this year (not on NZ tv for some reason) so can anyone tell me how consistent he is? If SA aren't interested, does he qualify for any other int'l teams? Dead set booked the tv for Toulon vs Glasgow and Stade vs Saracens Disappointed Sharks and Stormers aren't sending too team. I tend to support the SA teams. I'm gonna call Clermont to give Leinster a massive fright. Unlikely but you heard it here first...

Do teams make more money if they make it into the knockouts? I know that is how it is in the champions league (football). Clubs make substantially more money the further they go into the competition, so teams are incentivised to go for it, even if they know they wont win the competition
@Zveebo13 сағат бұрын
Yes, there is extra money the further you get. And obviously massive ticket sale if you get to the quarters and beyond.
@davidwalker240214 сағат бұрын
There is obviously something seriously wrong with these group games and it’s mostly the fans that lose out, the times of games Sunday at 5.30 is disgraceful . Yes player welfare is important etc but there would be no competition without the fans. It’s time they were considered in all of this .

Playground bullies Toulouse. Don’t they understand resting their best players? (Looking forward to seeing DuPont, Ntamack and Willis live 😍)
@kropotkine964014 сағат бұрын
They'll rest them next week and the week after, when Toulouse will face Lyon and Stade Français respectively ranked 12th and 13th Toulouse have a great team of youngsters, last year they went away to win the full Montpellier (22-29) while having this team: 15. Capuozzo, 14. Retière, 13. Delibes, 12. Barassi, 11. Bituniyata ; 10. Delpy, 9. Germain ; 7. Brennan, 8. T. Ntamack, 6. Castro-Ferreira ; 5. Fa’asalele (cap), 4. Vergé ; 3. Merkler, 2. Cramont, 1. Trauth (Bench: 16. Boubila, 17. Bertrand, 18. Arnold, 19. Sentuberry, 20. Jouanny, 21. Gourgues, 22. Tauzin, 23. Ainu’u)

Toulouse pretty much always go full out for European games. They want to finish top of their group and ensure home games in the knocks outs if at all possible.

When teams send weak teams to play cause they couldn't be bothered with winning it takes the air out of the whole competition. Makes it difficult for me to get excited about the games
