Hey! My aforementioned half-elf who's way too obsessed with her fae ancestry ended up in the faewild! Poor girl was so overwhelmed with the joy of it she spent most of the session in shock. 😂 (She's better now!)

Virago was clearly just a Yuki-onna, without coding it japanese. Odd to see culture-agnostic design in 3e, though maybe it was just a way to squeeze out another monster entry. As a more general thing, the naming pattern " " does generate some good creature ideas.

There is more fire subtype creatures than there are fae. Hoary hunters are pretty neat, tho a pc might get angry when their soul gets trapped.

Definitely the type of scenario that your players should probably know from the START is a possibility. Little to no chance of revival.

@@feywildfiend I mean normally this is for epic encounters so it would be to be excepted Tho they can always attack the sword so they will have to deal with the sunder mechanics if they destroy the sword they would be free. With it.

This is great. Planning a feywild finale arc for my party and your videos have been a great inspiration. Thanks for making these!

Very interesting, and given me some ideas as the group that I DM for are heading for a very cold region of the world. Might have to find out my old 3rd Ed D&D books to see if there are any other things that I can use.

Fantastic -- I've got Session Zero this evening for a homebrew campaign set in FR's The Unapproachable East (The Great Dale, Rashemen, and Thay) and the first 2 of those locations have strong ties to the Feywild while being cold dark fantasy genre locations in and of themselves, and I'm keen to bring in more Feywild stuff after having just run Wild Beyond the Witchlight (and without the restrictions that campaign has by the nature of its given story). Look forward to adding so many things you've talked about.

I always loved the wintry fey, the way they embody the cruelty of uncaring nature. I think my ex-wife was a Frostwind Virago... she definitely has that mind-freeze power, although I've only seen it work on men. 😄

Holy fuck, the Frostwind Virago is me! Loves winter, neutral evil, lusts and kills, dominatrix and wears a beautiful fur coat. She even looks like me on a good hair day!

Oh this is D&D. I clicked for Dresden Files reasons.
