@@MTGMuddstah The opening hands. There are mtg personality channels already however the issue with them is that the games are all one hour or longer. Some might enjoy that, but a game of mtg is not a feature length film. Having a tight compact digestible game is what we want more of. To be frank, I'm watching the video because the game is interesting not because the people are.

I know a lot of people complaining about bringing back hand intro but at least this time the face cam intro was super clean compared to last one! If anything it would be nice to at least have each player's commander on screen as they're explaining their game plan! As always love your vids bro!

Unsure why people are so demanding of opening hands. I really don't think anyone will remember what's in opening hands by turn 3. Love this new change keep it up, Andrew !

The new intro are nice but you should overlay the commander cards on in the middle of the 4 of you. it would make it much easier to understand why the commander do

Im pretty sure Coram has 0% winrate on all the videos he's been in on this channel x) I like that commander, he feels sort of "chill" and "see what you get" from the graveyard stuff, but somehow he always ends up just getting smacked without having any actual threat on the table... and just drop out. Its so sad. I keep considering of building that guy, but in every existing gameplay video with him, Coram just never rly does too much. D: Still cool video.
@theaamanable2 ай бұрын
It just seems like the power gain part from him is bait and the real thing you want to do is steal other peoples cards… which like… there’s a million other commanders that do that better and in better colors

He requires a LOT of setup and protection. He definitely suffers in the sense that if they remove him or your yard, he's doneso.

Love your videos and would love to help work with you on the backend of establishing an alt channel with more personality and flavor featuring longer games. Your previous intros lend themselves to quick games with lots of interesting deck tech moments. I enjoy using the cards I see in your groups builds. Maybe there is a way to ride both ends of the bell curve with shorter more statistic heavy games on one side and then longer more friendly/personal or flavored games. I warrant that at least some of your popularity comes from the shortness of your games and the concise narration outlining precisely what is happening.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I'd wager a lot of the interest is for the brevity, which frankly isn't changing. Based on my findings from video performance, most folks skip the first 1-3 minutes and go straight for the core gameplay. I haven't changed any of this, and have no plans to. My experimentation with the intro is to see if maybe instead of just reading off opening hands, which even I find a bit uninspired now, can maybe pull some interest by introducing my viewers to my players. These are folks who I've called my friends for years and I'm really excited at the prospect of sharing them all with you all (even if it's only for a minute or two at the start and end of my videos).

@@MTGMuddstah Respectfully, I watch commander gameplay channels because i love the game, not the people playing it. Your channel has been in my top 3 because of the hyper focus on the gameplay. If you're moving towards showcasing your players more, I hope my sentiment is a very small minority of viewers.

Most of Andrew's turn 6 was illegal. He should've sacrificed Coram to Sheoldred instead of attacking with it. Then when he did attack, he milled a card that he then played even though Coram was no longer on the field.

For the record, everyone gets the Belbe trigger on their own post combat main phase. If you can make any of Belbe's owner's opponents lose life, then you get the mana. Doesn't seem like you were playing it that way.
