Parts required:
1) Cruise control Stalk 8463234011
2) Cover for Cruise control stalk 451860K100C0
3) Screws (not self tapping) for cruise control stalk 9015950199
4) Cruise control switch connecting wire 8463348020
5) Two nos terminals and terminal repair wires to lead down from the clock spring to the ECU and ground.

Very well done and I wish I could get the tutorial necessary for my US 2013 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 manual transmission. I installed the cruise paddle, the switch wire for the airbag and the clutch switch for which that was prewired. I need to find S8 under the clock spring and run 2 wires, ground and to the ECM behind the glovebox. Hopefully the cruise light will come on the dash and the cruise will work.

Hi. Wonder your diy cruise control similar to Japan Sienta-G petrol code NSP170? I bought the cruise stick but no clue how to start diy. Can you share your opinion.

This is totally different platform, engine, ecu. The cruise stick is probably same as its shared part. But wiring schematic probably will not work for Sienta. You might find some luck with other Toyota B platform vehicle sharing same engine.

Mechanic is probably not aware of the installation or maybe worried because of his doubts and don't want to risk it in a customer vehicle. But apart from that the cruise control works as expected in GX/VX.

hello friend, whether for innova gasoline is the same PIN on ECU no 26, because at the gasoline ECU there is already a cable on pin 26 in blue thank you and I am waiting for your response.

No bro, ECU is different for Petrol so there is a very good chance that the pin layouts are also different. I am guessing it is the 2.7 petrol? If you can get the wiring diagram of your the petrol Innova (or the current gen Hilux/Fortuner) then it will be ideal. Connecting to wrong pin can blow the ECU.

Hi can you share souring info for ecu terminal pins? I am not able to find the terminal pins / ecu repair wire. You mentioned that both the pins are of different size i.e the spiral connector one and the ecu one. Do you have part no for both ends repair wire. I couldnt find the part no. Thanks for the video i am working on my gx

i got a wire from aliexpress but the pins on both end are small and it doesnt fit into the ecu connector

I understand the problem. The female pin from aliex is sized right for the spiral assembly under steering but its slightly small (in length) when put in the ECU's connector to reach ECU's male pin. I had the right sized pin salvaged from another wiring harness and that is how I connected it.

vélocedad thanks. My backup plan was to use it from the steering audio switch part(which i am replacing) and solder and shrink tube it at the ecu end and wrap it with tesa automotive tape for factory like finish. Thanks your videos are inspiring.👍🏻

@@motamotoba6786 Cruise switch in Toyota is a variable resistance switch so an external resistor in the circuit will change the voltage ECU expects on each mode (on/off, set, res, cancel) of cruise control switch operation. Volt at Pin 26 in different modes of cruise switch can be between 0.5 volts to 14volts.

Just pull out and towards the top after bottom lock is released. If its the first time that airbag unit is being taken out it will be tight. Btw disconnect the battery -ve if you have not done that already.

Dr SAM You can order it from toyota dealership. Just find a guy that could help you doing that at the dealership. It will cost around 4.5 k incl tax. or if you need chinese one you could find it on aliexpress just search for toyota cruise control kit or the part no. you will get the switch, screws, switch to spiral connector cable from there for around 1k incl shipping. I recommend using toyota orignal ones.

Sir tried to get it installed as per the instructions on ur video but my technician failed stating difficult to work on ecm as it can be dangerous and there is no proper image or clip available on in ur video which shows how to remove the ecm and fix the cable.Can u share a better clip of fixing it into the ecm step by step,will be really helpful

A on/off toggle switch which tells ECU whether clutch pedal is pressed or not.

If pin 26 is empty, then its not prewired?

Pin26 for Innova ECU is for cruise control. If its blank then it is not prewired. It is the same for Hilux and should be the same for fortuner also. Confirm this by referring a shop manual.

i have not come across the cover for crysta sold online. a hole will work just as well.

I have upgraded my Gx At speedometer with a zx one and it's working fine,the only issue is the right side steering controls are not compatible with the instrument cluster and it feels dummy apart from that it's easy to install and looks sporty
