Even on the first day of the event, I was getting spammed these bombs because people kept spawncamping us by staying at altitudes high enough that the AA could not reach the drone but high enough for the Cruise missile to reach the ground. The only difference between the first day, yesterday and today, is that now there are 4 more, which makes 5 drones, so 10 cruise missiles, more from time to time air-to-ground missiles. In short, a very nice event when we are 80% of the time on the losing team just for a question of bad rng

You can use Alt+X to lock onto a target for the TM Smashers, and you dont have to stay in missile view for more than a few seconds. You can use the Parisarrow ATGM and lock onto planes. They don't pull very hard, but no one expects a missile in the head-on.

With the missiles, you have to attack from an high angle to get around the APS coverage. This relegates the missiles to long range attacks and frontal short range ones will always get taken down by APS

Those big missile things are actually closer to a thing fired by the F/A-18 called JSOW’s. Irl they glide to their target and drop cluster munitions, but the in-game model of the weapon dropped by the UAV thing looks kinda like them. Who knows 👀

Fun fact, the range of harpy missiles and rounds is 8km. The range of the smasher is like 9 km or so. Climb to above 8km and the only thing that can touch you is another ucav you will see climbing to altitude.

Phly the TM smashers are lock on cruise missiles climb to abt 8km or higher to avoid detection and enemy UCAVs dip below 8km for firing the TMs which can be fired at any angle even if the UCAV is upside down. Lock on to a target whike in TM tracker view then leave it and just watch the TM do its work

Day 3 Hey phly, for war fare 2077 theres something really fun you need to try before its gone, use the hydra and spam rockets, while mid air with the rocket press alt + x to lock onto the tank and then shoot another and repeat, you get a bunch of hits and a kill after about 7-8

I find that sitting at roughly 4000m~ and using the smashers is a great combo

To use the smashers effectively, climb to 5000ft or higher and aim down with the bomb bay open. Fire one and close the bomb bay while you are guiding the cruise missile. Pull up and repeat. It’s better this way because you aren’t affected by harpy’s or other players

You have thermals for the UCAV btw, plus you cant achieve a speed where your wings will rip off and the start is to roam 7km away from any Harpy (Missle launch range) or under 100m alttude and use the Smashers. the AGMs are useful for 60 degree plus angle of attck from 10km in the air

One of the things I figured out as well is that you can lock ground targets with the smashers and then press v to switch back to your wyvern to streamline the destruction. The only problem is that the automatic guidance sucks and I even had it miss an immobile target that I had already lined up on.

Trick for using the agms that lock on is to dive bomb the target. For some reason the APS doesn't work on munitions coming from directly above. Lock and fire off 3 from directly above, and you have a good chance to get a kill.

Two observations: why is the UCAV limited to 8g overload? The limiting factor for modern warplanes is not the structural strength of the airframe but what the pilot can bear physically. And there's no pilot in an UCAV! Secondly, Steve, it might be advisable to close your stores bay doors between shots; stores are carried internally by the latest generation of aircraft to reduce radar cross-section and improve stealth capabilities, so leaving the bays open will negate some of the fancy stealth stuff you paid so much taxpayer-dollars for!

The ultimate strat with the wyvern was to sit at 6 km and just spam TM Smashers every 30 seconds, the aa couldn't reach you and other wyverns rarely look up. I got over 20 kills in a game doing this.

The Harpy isn't bad at all. Ive had over a dozen air kills with them in several games. You can wreck the opposing teams CAS quickly if you use them right!

Phly you have to try this, get the plane with smashers air to air, go to 21k feet so no enemies on the ground see you and then shoot the smasher and get easy kills, the only time you will die is by other jets!

Good strat for the smasher, take the one phly used with the fowlers, climb to 20,000 feet, and launch the smashers from there, lots of time to find good targets, time to launch both in one pass, outta range of spaa, and u have the drop on enemy ucavs, just launch about 8.5 klicks away from your target
