Can’t say enough good things about Camp Ocean. Staff is friendly and very trustworthy. If you drop your kid off regularly, they really get to know you and your little one. This perk is a blessing for all parents and free unlike other cruise lines. A definite must for parents who need a break!

This video was the absolute most useful! Thank you very much. I will be traveling with a toddler under the age of two and I will not be traveling with family. We will be alone, which I am afraid may complicate some of the time together. One challenge I am running into is The Couple’s massage we have booked at 4 PM on Embarkation day the very first day. I need to know if they will have child care for my one year-old at 4 PM please advise thank you so much.

I'm sorry, but for children under 2, their hours are limited. Their childrecare is 8am - 10am and 10pm - 1am. This is what all the recent cruisers have mentioned on a facebook group called "CARNIVAL VISTA CRUISE PAGE!" I suggest joining that group page for more tips and advice from seasoned cruisers as well. 🤞you can move your times around for your couples massage

There is only late after hrs, after 10 pm for baby sitting under 2 yrs old.

Great video! So it sounds like there are no free options to drop off under 2 year olds during the day or evening?

That is correct, no free options but $7.50/hr + gratuity, so rounding to $8/hr is the option to drop your little ones under 2. This is still a good option if you have no help to watch your little ones and want to catch a show or event with a friend or loved one, during a sea day, or drop off option during a port day.

Before they had the under 2 open, I only brought them in the morning to play with the toys, so about 3-4 times, and one time for night owls.

Sounds like this kid is going to have great memories…of watching his parents walk away from him while he cries on vacation. Maybe if you’ve gotten to that point you’re not quite spending enough time with them.

Don't worry, we spend plenty of time with him during vacation and at home when we are not on vacation. I can say with 100% confidence that my kiddos are happy kiddos. Every kid goes through some form of separation anxiety too. Also, every parent goes through mom/dad guilt when whey drop their kiddos off at daycare/preschool/caretaker for the first time.

Can you leave the kids at camp ocean during dining times? I only ask, because my child has an aversion to people eating. 😢
